CELEBRITY GIST: Prince Harry’s bride-to-be Meghan Markle has made her first public appearance with the Queen of England, Queen Elizabeth II.
The American actress joined the Queen and other senior royals on Monday March 12, at the Commonwealth Day Service at London’s Westminster Abbey.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were greeted with screams from some members of the public when they arrived at the venerable Abbey. Meghan looks flawless in her cream coat and black dress, designed by Amanda Wakeley.
The Queen will deliver a commonwealth day message where she would discuss the way in which people different backgrounds and nations can come together and bond.
It marks another milestone in Meghan’s path to joining the Bristish Monarch’s family. She is set to marry her hearthrob Prince Harry on the grounds of Winder Castle, on May 19th.
